Last week, the Coats for Kids Foundation received a wonderful holiday gift....six large cases new knitted hats and scarves from Echo Design in New York City.   This family-owned firm designs and produces high-end, quality hats and scarves that are in fine clothing stores throughout the U.S.

The cases contain traditional skull caps in a rainbow of colors, along with long, beautifully knitted scarves in rich hues and bright colors.

The first scarves were delivered last week in Northeast DC.  The second group of more than 100 scarves will be delivered this weekend to the children of wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Army Hopsital, Fort Meade, and Ft. Belvoir.  A huge THANK YOU to Dorothy, Robert, Lynn, and Meg Roberts of Echo Design for these great gifts for needy kids!
