At the Air Force Acquisition (AQ/IMA) annual Holiday Party, Coats for Kids was presented with an unbelievable Christmas present--307 new winter coats for kids!   This was the third annual new coat drive by the Contracting IMA Reservists under the leadership of Colonel Vincent Napoleon with the day-to-day oversight of Lt. Col. Bill Braden.  The new coats were donated by members of the organizations within the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition.

Paul Darby co-founder of the Coats for Kids Foundation told the 300 plus assumbled Contracting IMA Reservists DoD officers, civilian staff,  and guests, "I am humbled and so very grateful for the support and trust that you have placed in us.  All of you have become our family over these past three years, and you will always be wherever you are stationed.  You have been an instrumental part in the history and growth of the Coats for Kids Foundation."You have my gratitude and commitment to get these coats to kids before Christmas! "  

Mr. Darby then presented Col. Napoleon with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the Coats for Kids Foundation and the more than 7,400 children who have received new coats, hats, and gloves from the foundation.
