Coats Delivered Outside DC Region Must Have Local Fundraising Support |

For the past four years, the Coats for Kids Foundation has had significant support that has allowed us to meet the need for winter coats far beyond our immediate area. In fact, we have delivered coats to 26 states and the District of Columbia! Almost 7,000 of the 12,000 new coats have been distributed in VA, DC, MD!
Today, we very much want to continue to help groups outside of our area, but our funding sources require us to give a clear, focused priority to Alexandria, VA and the surrounding DC metropolitan area.
We know that many organizations have come to depend on us. All that
we can do is to urge local community leaders to take up the challenge
of fundraising and then to allow us to use our supply sources to help
you meet your local need. We will help design a poster and fact sheet for you, suggest talking points for the media, etc. Send us an email to
